Portal Blues

We’ve got these funky 70’s inspired speckled bumpy glass panes in our front door. As the sun moves round to the front of the house for the last few hours of the day the light shines through and casts these wild shapes on the walls.

This piece is made from a photo of these shapes projected onto one of my black art sketchbooks. A super detailed study transformed into a sculptural wall hanging piece that will look great in any room.

Individually exposed cyanotype images printed straight onto ceramic tiles and mounted onto hardwood.
